Job DescriptionJob Description

Aerotek is hiring multi-craft maintenance technicians for a manufacturing facility in Vonore, TN. These positions are 6 month contract to hire opportunities paying $26-$34/hr depending on experience.

Shift: 7pm-7am 2-2-3 schedule but will train on day shift 7am-7pm for roughly one month

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot, repair, maintain, and install production equipment within the facility (mechanical/electrical).
• Understand and troubleshoot high/low voltage electrical systems (480V and down).
• Repair and replace faulty components including motors, gearboxes, drives, sensors, switches, bearings, etc.
• Identify and resolve equipment breakdowns promptly.
• Implement corrective actions to prevent future failures.
• Perform preventative maintenance tasks according to established schedules.
• Capable rewiring equipment for maintenance and performing basic instrument troubleshooting.
• Work closely with Electrical and Instrument Technicians and Operating Technicians on site.
• Assist teammates in completing tasks outside the scope of typical responsibilities.
• Assist in maintaining parts inventory.
• Support site safety and security and assist in planning work with operations, contractors, and other plant personnel.
• Communicate effectively with personnel at all organizational levels in a professional manner.
• Maintain a respectful work environment.

Essential Skills

• Minimum of 2 years of experience working as an industrial maintenance technician within a manufacturing facility.
• Proficiency in mechanical and electrical troubleshooting, hydraulics, pneumatics, preventive maintenance, and PLC troubleshooting.
• Ability to perform welding and fabrication.
• Experience reading schematics, blueprints, and diagrams.
