Gemini is seeking an Industrial Maintenance Technician to join our team in Taylor, TX. This is a 1st shift position, with a starting pay of $22.21 per hour, based on experience. Benefits begin within 30 days.

Job Function

Performs welding, fabricating, plumbing, electrical, and carpentry tasks under limited supervision. May lead other maintenance and custodial staff.

Specific Job Duties

• Reads blueprints and wiring diagrams to diagnose mechanical or electrical issues.
• Performs construction, welding, remodeling, and related projects such as building walls, shelving, and pouring concrete.
• Evaluates site requirements, installs equipment, and makes electrical, air, and water connections.
• Diagnoses and repairs mechanical and electrical failures in CNC and PLC-controlled equipment, and modifies them for efficiency.
• Performs preventive maintenance and repairs, installs lighting fixtures, and manages parts requisitions.
• Inspects production equipment, maintains records, and ensures safety procedures are followed, including NFPA 70E PPE inspections.
• Maintains vehicle condition, operates snow removal equipment, and ensures the appearance of facilities.
• Leads projects, maintains maintenance schedules, and provides work direction to team members.

Position Requirements

• Associate degree in a technical field.
• At least 3 years of electrical, welding/fabrication, and troubleshooting experience in an industrial setting.
• Ability to wear respirators, lift up to 50 lbs, and experience with plumbing, HVAC, and CNC.
