Willert Home Products is seeking an experienced Maintenance Technician to join our St. Louis Manufacturing Plant team.

Our Maintenance Technicians support manufacturing operations by maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing equipment throughout the plant in a safe and orderly manner. The individual will be expected to learn the operation of each production line, including high-speed filling and packaging machinery.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and repair manufacturing equipment
• Support production lines with troubleshooting and repairs
• Learn the operation of various production machinery

Desired Skills and Experience

• Industrial breakdown maintenance experience (packaging equipment preferred)
• Experience working on 110V - 480V AC, wiring panels, breakers, and laying conduit
• Electronics experience including PLC troubleshooting
• Mechanical experience with cam & switches, pneumatics, hydraulics, vacuum pumps, fabricating, and conveyors
• Welding experience (Stick, MIG, TIG)
• Milling and lathe experience preferred
• Knowledge of Lock Out, Tag Out programs

Desired Education and Skills

• Two-year technical degree preferred
• Strong attention to detail and mechanical aptitude
• 4+ years industrial maintenance experience

Additional Information

We are a Union shop with shift assignments based on seniority. The shifts available are:

• 6:30am-2:30pm (1st shift)
• 2:30pm-10:30pm (2nd shift)
• 10:30pm-6am (3rd shift)

Applicants must pass a pre-employment fitness-for-duty test, conducted in accordance with applicable laws.

Salary: $33.54 - $34.04 per hour
