Job summary

Gordon Food Service is seeking an Industrial Maintenance mechanic to perform hands-on repair and maintenance of building systems such as hydraulics, electrical, HVAC, and conveyors. You will read schematics and blueprints, operate cranes and hi‑speed doors, and maintain a parts room while upholding safety standards.

The role requires forklift experience, a current PIV certification, and the ability to lift up to 100 lbs. Training and benefits are strong, with no travel required.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• High school diploma or GED certificate.
• Powered Industrial Vehicle certification required.
• Three years' machine repair experience or an equivalent combination of education and training.
• Previous experience in forklift repair.
• Successful drug screen and background check.
• Able to lift/move up to 100 lbs during your shift.
• If employed for a Gordon Food Service customer, provide a letter of support from management during interview.

Responsibilities

• Repair and maintain building systems including hydraulics, electrical, HVAC, and conveyors.
• Read and interpret building schematics/blueprints.
• Operate cranes and hi‑speed doors as needed.
• Keep a clean, organized parts room and use heavier specialty tools.
• Ensure safety standards and respond to downtime to keep operations running.

• Thursday2 pm to 12 am

Requirements
