Job summary

Sheridan is seeking an Industrial Maintenance Technician in Pillager, Minnesota to support production equipment and facility operations. This 2nd shift role runs Monday–Friday, 3:00 PM–11:30 PM with rotating on-call weekends.

Pay starts at $23.00/hour plus a $1.00/hour shift differential. Responsibilities include troubleshooting electrical and mechanical breakdowns, fabricating parts, and maintaining equipment and facility systems.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 2+ years of mechanical technician experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Strong mechanical aptitude and ability to troubleshoot both electrical and mechanical systems.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot electrical and mechanical breakdowns.
• Maintain, alter, rebuild and adjust equipment and facilities, including fabricating parts.
• Investigate recurring facility-oriented failures to find solutions.
• Attend to RTU air conditioners, filter changes, wash condensers, tighten belts.
• Maintain an inventory of supplies and materials for building and manufacturing operations.
• Woodworking projects as needed.

Job description

Sheridan is hiring an Industrial Maintenance Technician to support production equipment and facility operations. This is a 2nd shift role (3:00 PM - 11:30 PM) with consistent weekday hours and a rotating on-call schedule. This role is ideal for someone with strong mechanical troubleshooting skills and experience in a manufacturing environment.

Schedule:
Monday-Friday, 3:00 PM - 11:30 PM
Rotating on-call weekends (minimum 2 hours paid if called in)
Pay:
$23.00/hour or higher, depending on experience + additional $1.00/hour shift differential

What You'll Do:

• Troubleshoot electrical and mechanical breakdowns.
• Maintain, alter, rebuild and adjust equipment and facilities to include fabricating parts and assemblies.
• Follow up on and study recurring facility-oriented failures in an effort to find solutions.
• Attend to RTU air conditioners, filter changes, wash condensers, tighten belts.
• Maintain an inventory of supplies and materials necessary for the operation of the building and manufacturing.
• Wood working projects.

What We're Looking For:

We are open to candidates from a variety of industrial maintenance environments, including manufacturing outside of print. Requirements include:

• High School diploma or GED required.
• 2+ years of mechanical technician experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Mechanical aptitude.
• Understand Lock-Out-Tag-Out.
• Ability to thread pipe and solder copper pipes.
