Job summary

Sheridan is hiring an Industrial Maintenance Technician to support production equipment and facility operations on a 2nd shift (3:00 PM - 11:30 PM) with a rotating on-call schedule. This role emphasizes strong mechanical troubleshooting skills within a manufacturing setting.

Schedule: Monday-Friday, 3:00 PM - 11:30 PM; rotating on-call weekends (minimum 2 hours paid if called in). Pay: $23.00/hour or higher, plus $1.00/hour shift differential based on experience.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of mechanical technician experience in a manufacturing environment.
• High School diploma or GED required.
• Mechanical aptitude.
• Understand Lock-Out-Tag-Out.
• Ability to thread pipe and solder copper pipes.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot electrical and mechanical breakdowns.
• Maintain, alter, rebuild and adjust equipment and facilities, fabricating parts and assemblies.
• Address recurring facility failures to find solutions.
• Attend to RTU air conditioners, filter changes, wash condensers, tighten belts.
• Maintain inventory of supplies for building and manufacturing operations.
• Wood working projects.

What You'll Do:

• Troubleshoot electrical and mechanical breakdowns.

• Attend to RTU air conditioners, filter changes, wash condensers, tighten belts.
• Maintain an inventory of supplies and materials necessary for the operation of the building and manufacturing.
• Wood working projects.
