Job summary

The Sheridan Group is hiring an Industrial Maintenance Technician for a 2nd shift (3:00 PM - 11:30 PM) in Minnesota to support production equipment and facility operations. The role features consistent weekday hours with a rotating on-call schedule and pays $23.00/hour or higher plus a $1.00/hour shift differential.

Responsibilities include troubleshooting electrical and mechanical breakdowns, maintaining and fabricating parts, and addressing recurring facility failures.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required.
• 2+ years of mechanical technician experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Mechanical aptitude.
• Understand Lock-Out-Tag-Out.
• Ability to thread pipe and solder copper pipes.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot electrical and mechanical breakdowns.
• Maintain, alter, rebuild and adjust equipment and facilities, including fabricating parts and assemblies.
• Study recurring facility-oriented failures to find solutions.
• Attend to RTU air conditioners, filter changes, wash condensers, tighten belts.
• Maintain an inventory of supplies and materials for building and manufacturing operations.
• Woodworking projects.

Sheridan is hiring an Industrial Maintenance Technician to support production equipment and facility operations. Schedule:
Monday-Friday, 3:00 PM - 11:30 PM
Rotating on-call weekends (minimum 2 hours paid if called in)
Pay:
$23.00/hour or higher, depending on experience + additional $1.00/hour shift differential

What You'll Do:

• Troubleshoot electrical and mechanical breakdowns.
• Maintain, alter, rebuild and adjust equipment and facilities to include fabricating parts and assemblies.
• Follow up on and study recurring facility-oriented failures in an effort to find solutions.
• Attend to RTU air conditioners, filter changes, wash condensers, tighten belts.
• Maintain an inventory of supplies and materials necessary for the operation of the building and manufacturing.
• Wood working projects.
