Cutting Edge countertops, Inc. is seeking an Industrial Maintenance Technician to keep fabrication equipment running safely and efficiently in a 24/5 operation. You will diagnose issues quickly, perform preventative maintenance, and collaborate with production to minimize downtime.

The role requires hands-on problem solving, the ability to work independently, and a commitment to safety. The position offers a full-time schedule with 2nd shift and potential overtime.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of industrial maintenance experience, manufacturing or fabrication preferred.
• Strong mechanical troubleshooting skills.
• Working knowledge of electrical systems (motors, sensors, relays, basic VFDs, wiring).
• Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.
• Comfortable using hand tools, meters, and diagnostic equipment.
• Reliable attendance and strong commitment to safety.

Responsabilités

• Troubleshoot, repair, and maintain fabrication equipment including saws, CNC machines, polishers, routers, compressors, and dust collection systems.
• Perform preventative maintenance to improve reliability and reduce unplanned downtime.
• Diagnose mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic issues.
• Respond quickly to breakdowns and implement root-cause fixes—not temporary patches.
• Follow and enforce safe work practices, including lockout/tagout procedures.
• Track maintenance activity, parts usage, and equipment history.
• Partner with production to prioritize repairs and improve equipment performance.

Description

We’re a fast-paced countertop fabrication facility looking for a skilled Industrial Maintenance Technician to keep our equipment running safely and efficiently. This role is critical to minimizing downtime and keeping production on track in a 24/5 operation. If you’re a hands-on problem solver who can diagnose issues quickly and fix them the right way—not just the fast way—you’ll do well here.

Schedule

• 2nd Shift: Monday–Friday, 2:30 PM – 11:00 PM
• Overtime may be required based on production needs

What You’ll Do

• Troubleshoot, repair, and maintain fabrication equipment including saws, CNC machines, polishers, routers, compressors, and dust collection systems
• Perform preventative maintenance to improve reliability and reduce unplanned downtime
• Diagnose mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic issues
• Respond quickly to breakdowns and implement root-cause fixes—not temporary patches
• Follow and enforce safe work practices, including lockout/tagout procedures

Required

• Comfortable using hand tools, meters, and diagnostic equipment
• Reliable attendance and strong commitment to safety

Preferred

• Experience with CNC equipment or stone/countertop fabrication
• Welding and basic fabrication skills (MIG/TIG)
• PLC troubleshooting experience
• Familiarity with dust collection systems and compressed air systems
• Forklift or lift certification

Physical Requirements

• Ability to stand, walk, bend, climb, and lift up to 50 lbs
• Comfortable working around moving equipment, noise, and dust-controlled environments
• Ability to safely perform work in an industrial setting
