Job description

Job Description:

Pitney Bowes is seeking an onsite Industrial Maintenance Technician, 2nd Shift at our Levittown, Pennsylvania Presort Services facility. There are 2 openings for this position.

The hourly pay rate is $27, with a $1 per hour shift differential.

Work Schedule: Tuesday through Saturday, 2:45 PM - 11:15 PM EST.

Responsibilities include:

• Performing complex mechanical and electronic repairs on conveyer machines, PLC systems, and other industrial electromechanical equipment (Mail Sorters/Printers).
• Conducting electrical and mechanical repairs, preventative maintenance, and installations on machinery such as belt/pulley systems, hydraulic and pneumatic components, motors, photo-eyes, relays, drive assemblies, limit switches, proximity sensors, and solenoids.
• Completing preventative maintenance according to industry standards.
• Responding to equipment breakdowns and emergencies.
• Utilizing inventory, preventive maintenance schedules, and work order systems to minimize downtime.
• Maintaining spare parts inventory using Enterprise Asset Management (EAM).
• Diagnosing and repairing equipment issues promptly.
• Using a tablet to track work, downtime, and inventory used.
• Performing additional duties as required.

Candidate Requirements:

• Current experience as an onsite Industrial Maintenance Technician at Pitney Bowes.
• 2-6 years of troubleshooting and repairing complex industrial mechanical equipment.
• Experience servicing conveyer systems, PLCs, and other electromechanical production equipment.
• Proficiency with multimeters and electronic testing tools.
• Ability to read schematics, manuals, and parts diagrams.
• Familiarity with Windows PC environment related to automated equipment operation.
• Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to prioritize and work under deadlines.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. with or without accommodations.
• Ability to walk, stand, stoop, and bend for 80% of the shift, with or without accommodations.
