Pelliconi Florida is looking for an industrial maintenance technician to perform highly diversified duties, such as installing and maintaining production machines and the plant facility’s equipment. The maintenance technician position is responsible for performing highly diversified duties to install, troubleshoot, repair, and maintain production and facility equipment according to safety, predictive, and productive maintenance systems and processes to support the achievement of the site’s business goals and objectives.

Main Responsibilities:

• Unscheduled repairs: responsible for providing emergency/unscheduled repairs of production equipment during production and performing scheduled maintenance repairs of production equipment during machine service.
• Conducting daily routine maintenance and safety checks: performing basic machinist duties, diagnosing technical problems, replacing or repairing parts, testing, and performing adjustments.
• Read and interpret equipment manuals and work orders to perform required maintenance and service.
• Troubleshooting mechanical breakdowns.
• Preventive Maintenance plans: performing regular preventive maintenance on machines, equipment, and plant facilities.
• Resolve plumbing problems: perform a variety of minor plumbing maintenance and carpentry functions.
• Machines failures: detecting faulty operations, defective material, and report those and any unusual situations to proper supervision.
• Safety responsibility: comply with safety regulations and maintain clean and orderly work areas
• Assisting with the training of all new hires. The employee is frequently required to stand, walk, and talk or hear. The employee is occasionally required to sit; use hands and fingers, handle, or feel; reach with hands and arms and taste or smell. The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds or more. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision and color vision. The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate.

Basic Qualifications:

• 2-3 years of experience in an Industrial maintenance role.
• Degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or any relevant Engineering discipline.
• Experienced in a Manufacturing environment, preferably within the closure manufacturing industry
• Experience in Mechanical and Electrical maintenance of manufacturing facilities' equipment.
• Available to work at any shift. This position is to fill a night shift vacancy.
• Knowledge of general maintenance processes and methods.
• Advanced mechanical knowledge of industrial machinery
• Familiarity with OSHA safety standards and regulations.
• SACMI production equipment is a plus
• Bilingual (Spanish) language proficiency is a plus
