Job summary

Howmet Aerospace Inc. in Mauston, Wisconsin, is seeking an Industrial Maintenance Technician. You will perform service and preventative maintenance on machines, support operations, and apply advanced electrical and mechanical maintenance knowledge.

The role requires independence, a can‑do attitude, and ability to troubleshoot and resolve problems, with on-site work and opportunities for growth within Howmet’s global aerospace business.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required; PLC and Drives training a plus.
• On-site work in Mauston, WI required.
• Strong mechanical and electrical maintenance knowledge; independent work capability.

Responsibilities

• Maintain, troubleshoot, repair, and install industrial equipment.
• Upgrade electrical systems, wiring, VFDs, PLCs, HMIs.
• Troubleshoot problems and repair worn parts (belts, motors, pumps).
• Knowledge of hydraulics, pneumatics, and forklifts a plus.
• Plan and document maintenance activities.

Job duties and Responsibilities

Maintaining, Troubleshooting, Repairing, Cleaning, Installing, Rebuilding, Retrofitting, of Industrial Equipment

Upgrading Electrical Systems, Wiring, VFDs, PLCs, HMIs, Etc.

Troubleshoot problems and repair

Repair or replace worn out, damaged parts as needed. Belts, Bearings, Motors, Pumps, Pipe Fittings, Etc.

Knowledge of Hydraulics, Pneumatics, Electrical Controls, Forklifts, Building and Grounds Care, would be a plus.

At times, Planning, Designing, Ordering, Recording, Note-Taking, Organizing

Hands on while assisting with general maintenance as needed

Willing to work alone or with a team.Self-Starter and can get along with Co-workers.

Perform work in safe and responsible manner.

Qualifications

Basic Qualifications:

High school diploma or equivalent required; Trained in PLC and Drives will be a plus

• Must be able to work on site in Mauston, WI
