Job summary

Fortune Brands Innovations is seeking a maintenance technician to install, troubleshoot, repair and maintain production equipment in our North Carolina facility. The role supports safety and reliability across the manufacturing lines.

Requires a high school diploma or GED and a craft apprenticeship. The position offers a base salary range of $43,700 to $61,776 per year, with bonus eligibility and comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

High school diploma or GED and completion of a craft apprenticeship or training program.
Ability to read electrical, pneumatic and hydraulic schematics.
Ability to operate electrical testing equipment (meters and meggers).

Responsibilities

Perform basic plant maintenance, repair and installation tasks.
Repair and maintain machinery, electrical equipment.
Troubleshoot equipment breakdown problems.
Inspect, test and operate machinery prior to releasing to manufacturing.
Replace electrical components, motors, belts; tighten nuts/bolts; align rollers.
Use hand and power tools, electric meters and material handling equipment.
Detect faulty operations and report to supervision.
Troubleshoot and repair AC/DC motors and controls.
Adhere to safety guidelines.
Other duties may be assigned.
