Shift : Tuesday to Friday, 4:00 am – 2:30 pm, with scheduled overtime to meet business needs.

Summary : Our Packaging Maintenance Technician is responsible for safely troubleshooting, repairing, and installing tea and coffee equipment within the manufacturing facility, ensuring that quality products are produced timely and efficiently.

Key Responsibilities :

1. Demonstrate knowledge and proper use of hand tools.
2. Troubleshoot and safely repair basic mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic equipment and components.
3. Prioritize equipment issues based on importance, manage downtime, and communicate issues to peers and leadership; escalate issues to experts or external resources as needed.
4. Utilize Digital Production System (Redzone) to track assigned actions, update peers, and communicate with departments.
5. Read and interpret equipment drawings and OEM manuals for packaging equipment.
6. Follow instructions regarding daily expectations, requirements, or specifications.
7. Accurately complete all work order and quality paperwork.
8. Develop cost-effective solutions and adhere to purchasing standards.
9. Report environmental, health, and safety concerns to leadership.
10. Be flexible with weekly work schedule to troubleshoot and fix issues promptly, supporting production needs.
11. Maintain a clean and sanitary workstation and maintenance shop.
12. Follow all safety procedures, actively participate in safety training, and support safety initiatives.
13. Ensure the safe and efficient use of equipment, tools, and personnel; report injuries, accidents, or unsafe conditions immediately.
14. Support and comply with Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs); understand and follow emergency action plans.
15. Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications :

1. Technical certification preferred.
2. At least 3 years of manufacturing facility maintenance experience.
3. Basic technical skills including mechanical troubleshooting, pneumatics, fluid power, and use of hand tools.
4. Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
5. Self-directed team player with effective communication skills and ability to complete projects timely.
6. Willingness to work a flexible schedule, including rotating shifts as needed.
7. Strong safety awareness.
8. Positive attitude with ability to follow rules and directions.

Required Experience & Skills :

Electrical experience, eMaint, industrial maintenance, HVAC, mechanical knowledge, property maintenance, painting, plumbing, hydraulics, programmable logic controllers, troubleshooting.
