Job description

Position Overview

We are seeking a skilled Industrial Maintenance Technician to keep our concrete production plants running safely and efficiently. You will perform routine maintenance, troubleshoot equipment failures, and repair mechanical and electrical systems. This role requires daily local travel to support multiple production sites in the area.

Key Responsibilities

• Maintain concrete plant machinery, conveyors, mixers, and pneumatic systems.
• Troubleshoot mechanical breakdowns and electrical faults quickly to minimize downtime.
• Inspect equipment daily to identify and fix potential safety or operational hazards.
• Travel locally to various regional plant sites using a company service vehicle.

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Education & Experience: High school diploma or equivalent. At least 2 years experience as a maintenance technician.
• Welding: Proficient in MIG/STICK welding for structural repairs and equipment fabrication.
• Mechanical & Millwright: Experienced with heavy machinery alignment, gearboxes, bearings, and hydraulics.
• Wiring & Electrical: Strong ability to diagnose and repair 3-phase motors, control panels, and switches.
• Plumbing: Competent in maintaining industrial water lines, valves, and pneumatic piping.
• Troubleshooting: Excellent problem-solving skills under pressure in an industrial environment.
• Travel: Must possess a valid driver's license and a clean driving record for local travel.
• General: Be willing to work overtime and varying shifts. Must possess a positive attitude, good verbal communication skills, and the ability to work as a productive member of a team.
