Position: Industrial Maintenance Technician

Pay: $32-35/hr

Location: Mesquite, TX

Job Summary

Maintains dependable operations of production and quality systems by ensuring the safe and efficient functioning of all machinery and mechanical equipment.

Essential Job Functions and Responsibilities

1. Perform preventive and corrective maintenance, calibration, and upkeep of manufacturing and production equipment.
2. Analyze equipment performance and propose strategies to improve system reliability.
3. Support engineering projects, including equipment installation, commissioning, and validation processes.
4. Verify the accuracy of mechanical and electrical drawings.
5. Maintain accurate records of parts, materials, and consumables used during work.
6. Assist with proposals and recommendations for purchasing equipment and services.
7. Assist in root cause analysis of equipment failures for prompt resolution.
8. Use key process parameters and critical quality attributes to help resolve equipment performance issues.
9. Oversee contractor activities as required.
10. Troubleshoot electrical, mechanical, pneumatic, and control systems.
11. Fabricate repair parts using machine shop instrumentation and equipment.
12. Maintain parts, tools, and supplies inventory according to established programs.
13. Document and communicate actions, irregularities, and ongoing needs to ensure team continuity.
14. Maintain a safe and clean working environment by following established procedures, rules, and regulations.
