Job summary

Ace Precision is seeking an experienced Industrial Machine Repair & Preventative Maintenance Technician to join our team in Wisconsin. You will perform preventive maintenance on CNC machines, PLCs, robotics, hydraulics, and pneumatics, diagnose issues, and implement repair procedures to keep equipment running at peak performance.

The role requires a two-year technical degree with five years of related experience, along with strong interpretation of schematics, manuals, and specifications.

Qualifications

• Two-year technical degree with five years of related experience, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Strong ability to interpret technical instructions, diagrams, and specifications.
• Basic math skills.
• Initiative, sound judgment, and a safety-first mindset.

Responsibilities

• Perform general and preventive maintenance on shop equipment and PLC/automation systems.
• Interpret manuals, drawings, and specifications to guide repair procedures.
• Disassemble, repair, replace parts, and reassemble equipment; perform basic fabrication.
• Maintain facility systems (HVAC, plumbing, electrical) supporting operations.
• Handle wiring, piping, and basic electrical repairs to keep operations running smoothly.
• Support equipment relocation, installation, and requisitioning of parts or supplies.
• Safely manage hazardous materials and follow lockout/tagout procedures.
