Job summary

Mom's Meals is seeking an Industrial Maintenance Technician to support our Food & Beverage Operations within the Engineering, Maintenance & Asset Management team. This on-site role involves maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing production and packaging equipment in a refrigerated facility to ensure continuous line operation.

You will perform preventive maintenance, support safe operations, and respond quickly to downtime events while upholding strict food safety standards.

Qualifications

• Experience maintaining food production equipment in a manufacturing setting.
• Ability to read electrical schematics and PLC logic.
• Familiarity with refrigerated processing environments and safety standards.

Responsibilities

• Maintain, troubleshoot, and repair food production and packaging equipment to minimize downtime
• Perform preventive and predictive maintenance on mechanical, electrical, and pneumatic systems
• Support safe, reliable operation of refrigeration, conveyors, motors, and controls in a refrigerated environment
• Respond quickly to equipment breakdowns during production and document corrective actions
• Collaborate with Engineering and Operations to improve equipment reliability and line performance
• Use CMMS to complete work orders, track parts, and log maintenance activities accurately
• Follow all food safety, quality, and OSHA safety procedures, including lockout/tagout
• Assist in equipment installations, upgrades, and continuous improvement initiatives
• Communicate status of maintenance work to supervisors and production teams
• Participate in on-call or shift work as needed in a fast-paced, mission-driven environment
