Job summary

Qualifications

• Strong mechanical aptitude with experience maintaining and repairing industrial machinery, conveyors, hydraulics, and pneumatic systems.
• Ability to diagnose and troubleshoot electrical systems, read basic schematics, and safely work with motors, sensors, and control panels.
• Background in preventive and corrective maintenance, including inspection, lubrication, adjustments, and component replacement.
• Familiarity with tools and equipment such as welders, cutting torches, hand tools, power tools, and measuring instruments.
• Knowledge of workplace safety practices, lockout/tagout procedures, and OSHA guidelines in industrial or recycling environments.
• Effective communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively with operations, logistics, and management teams.
• High school diploma or equivalent; technical or vocational training in industrial maintenance, mechanics, or a related field preferred.
• Prior experience in recycling, manufacturing, or heavy industrial operations is beneficial; willingness to work in an outdoor, fast-paced setting.
• Ability to lift and move heavy objects as needed, stand for extended periods, and work varying shifts or overtime based on operational needs.
