Job summary

Randstad is seeking an Industrial Maintenance Mechanic for a full-time role in Lexington, KY. You will diagnose and repair production machinery, perform preventative maintenance, execute line changeovers, and troubleshoot electrical/hydraulic/pneumatic and HVAC systems. OSHA and Lockout/Tagout safety compliance is required.

Trade school or vocational training and hands-on problem solving are preferred. The position offers a salary range of $50,000 to $70,000 per year plus benefits and overtime

Industrial Maintenance Mechanic Full-Time + Overtime We are actively building our talent pipeline for experienced Maintenance Mechanics across our network of production and distribution facilities in the Lexington area. In this high-impact role, you will keep plant operations running smoothly by diagnosing and repairing production machinery, performing routine preventative maintenance, executing line changeovers, and troubleshooting electrical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and facility systems (including HVAC and refrigeration). We are looking for hands-on problem solvers with industrial maintenance experience and trade school or vocational training. Candidates must have solid troubleshooting skills across mechanical and electrical systems, the ability to read blueprints and schematics, basic welding capability, and a strict commitment to OSHA and Lockout/Tagout safety standards.

Responsibilities

Position Summary: The Maintenance Mechanics serve our internal customers by maintaining and repairing the company’s facility and production equipment according to established company standards to ensure the safety, reliability and functionality of the facility and equipment.

• Diagnoses and troubleshoots problems with company equipment (e.g. production equipment, warehouse bay doors, electrical systems, heating and cooling systems); repairs equipment according to established company standards.
• Performs preventative maintenance (e.g. lubrication of machines, conveyor belt replacement) on company equipment according to established guidelines.
• Adheres to all company policies, standards and procedures (e.g. OSHA and safety requirements, Federal/State/Local laws); wears all required personal protective equipment.
• Performs changeovers on production line equipment to ensure that equipment is set up correctly according to established standards to minimize downtime during production runs.
• Completes preventative maintenance records, work order forms, time‑off requests and other required paperwork according to established standards.
