Onsite, with no visa sponsorship or relocation assistance. The ideal candidate has hands-on experience with industrial maintenance, mechanical and electrical troubleshooting, PLC diagnostics, and automated equipment.

Qualifications

  • High School Diploma or GED.
  • Hydraulic and pneumatic systems knowledge.
  • Strong mechanical and electrical troubleshooting skills.
  • Experience with PLC troubleshooting and fault diagnosis.
  • Experience with industrial controls, sensors, and automated equipment.
  • Experience interpreting drawings, schematics, and manuals.
  • Minimum of 3 years of maintenance experience in a manufacturing or industrial environment.

Responsibilities

  • Support installation, commissioning, and startup of new equipment.
  • Ensure compliance with safety, environmental, and company policies.
  • Perform PLC fault-finding, troubleshooting, and basic programming support.
  • Maintain industrial processing equipment, production machinery, and support systems.
  • Maintain spare parts inventory and assist with procurement of replacement components.
  • Collaborate with production, engineering, and operations teams to meet manufacturing goals.
  • Troubleshoot and repair mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and automated equipment.
  • Diagnose equipment failures and implement corrective actions to minimize production downtime.
  • Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, wiring diagrams, manuals, and technical documentation.
  • Assist with continuous improvement initiatives that improve equipment performance and reliability.
  • Perform preventive, predictive, and corrective maintenance on manufacturing equipment and facility systems.
  • Utilize a CMMS to document maintenance activities and track work orders.

Job description

Our client is seeking a Maintenance Technicianresponsible for maintaining, troubleshooting, repairing, and improving production equipment and facility systems. This role supports manufacturing operations by helping ensure equipment reliability, minimizing downtime, and maintaining a safe working environment.

The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with industrial maintenance, mechanical and electrical troubleshooting, PLC diagnostics, and automated manufacturing equipment.

Qualifications (Must-Haves)
  • High School Diploma or GED.
  • Knowledge of hydraulic and pneumatic systems.
  • Strong mechanical and electrical troubleshooting skills.
  • Experience with PLC troubleshooting and fault diagnosis.
  • Strong problem-solving, organizational, and communication skills.
  • Experience working with industrial controls, sensors, and automated equipment.
  • Experience interpreting technical drawings, schematics, and equipment manuals.
  • Minimum of 3 years of maintenance experience in a manufacturing or industrial environment.
Preferred Skills:
  • Experience with CMMS platforms.
  • Familiarity with Lean Manufacturing, 5S, TPM, or continuous improvement methodologies.
  • Industry certifications related to electrical, mechanical, or industrial maintenance disciplines.
  • Associate degree or technical training in Industrial Maintenance, Mechatronics, Electrical Technology, or a related field.
  • Experience maintaining kilns, furnaces, ovens, vacuum systems, or other high-temperature manufacturing equipment.
  • Experience in advanced manufacturing, ceramics, glass, precision manufacturing, or process manufacturing environments.
Work Environment:
  • Personal protective equipment (PPE) required.
  • Regular standing, walking, bending, climbing, and lifting activities.
  • Occasional overtime, on-call support, or weekend work may be required.
  • Manufacturing environment with exposure to industrial equipment and production operations.
  • Work may involve exposure to elevated temperatures, industrial noise, and dusty environments.
