Job summary

An established steel manufacturer in the Kent, WA area is seeking an Electrical Maintenance Technician to keep production machinery running. You will install, modify, repair, and program electrical systems and components on industrial equipment in a full-time, direct-hire union role.

Qualifications

• Experience as a maintenance electrician in an industrial setting.
• Experience with PLCs, drives, and up to 480V.
• Ability to read blueprints, wiring diagrams, and schematics.
• Mill or heavy-industrial experience is a plus.
• Must be 18+ and able to lift up to 75 lbs; pass background, drug/alcohol, and physical screenings.

Responsibilities

• Install power supply wiring and conduit for machines.
• Connect and disconnect power supply wiring.
• Troubleshoot transformers, motors, control boards, and other equipment.
• Replace faulty electrical components.
• Work with coworkers and supervisors to diagnose equipment failures.
• Follow safety regulations and keep a clean work area.

Shift: 12 days on / 2 days off — 8-hour shifts (see options below)
