Job summary

Alcon is seeking an Electro Mechanical Technician in Johns Creek, GA to troubleshoot, repair, and maintain production equipment across mechanical, electrical, pneumatic and hydraulic systems. You’ll support a rotating night shift and collaborate with the maintenance team to minimize downtime and maximize yield.

The role emphasizes preventative and corrective maintenance, SOP updates, and involvement in equipment upgrades and validation protocols.

Qualifications

• Troubleshoot, repair and perform maintenance on production equipment across mechanical, pneumatic, hydraulic, electrical, and control systems.
• Assist in parts repair shop to rebuild/restore used parts in an equivalent condition.
• Contribute to improvements in maintenance systems: preventative, corrective, predictive, spare parts.
• Assist with technical projects for equipment retrofits/upgrades and SOPs/write shop repair instructions.
• Ensure instrumented systems and equipment support balanced gains in quality, output, yield and cost reduction.

Responsibilities
