Job summary

Kelly is seeking an Industrial Maintenance Technician to join a premier manufacturing client in Havre de Grace, MD. This role features a 12-hour night AWS rotating schedule with strong stability and career growth opportunities.

You will perform maintenance on extrusion or blow molding equipment, contribute to preventive and reactive maintenance, and assist with changeovers while upholding safety and quality standards. Welding, fabrication, and PLC experience are pluses.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of industrial maintenance experience.
• Able to read and interpret blueprints and schematics.
• Physical ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
• Welding/fabrication experience preferred.
• PLC experience is a bonus.

Responsibilities

• Perform maintenance for extrusion or blow molding equipment to ensure uninterrupted operations.
• Execute and continuously improve preventative maintenance procedures.
• Participate in equipment changeovers with correct execution.
• Conduct reactive maintenance and resolve equipment issues as needed.
• Adhere to safety, quality, and operational standards.

Salary/Pay Rate/Compensation: $27–$38/hr., based on experience

Shift: 12 hour night shift with a rotating 3-2-2-3 AWS schedule 6:45pm-7:00am

What’s a typical day as an Industrial Maintenance Technician? You’ll be:

• Performing maintenance for extrusion or blow molding manufacturing equipment to assure uninterrupted optimal operations
• Executing and continuously improving preventative maintenance procedures
• Participating in equipment changeovers, ensuring efficient and correct execution
• Conducting reactive maintenance and resolving equipment issues as needed
• Ensuring compliance with all safety protocols, quality standards, and operational practices
• Growing your knowledge and skills through various training and on-the-job experiences

This job might be an outstanding fit if you:

• Are able to work a 12-hour night shift with a rotating 3-2-2-3 AWS schedule
• Have a high school diploma, GED, or equivalent
• Are able to lift up to 50 pounds with or without reasonable accommodation
• Have a minimum of 3 years of industrial maintenance experience
• Can read and interpret blueprints and schematics
• Have welding/fabrication experience (preferred)
• Have PLC (Programmable Logic Controller) experience (a bonus)
