Responsibilities

• Own Equipment Reliability and Troubleshooting.
• Diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and automated manufacturing equipment.
• Troubleshoot PC/PLC-controlled equipment, sensors, drives, and other industrial control systems.
• Use electrical schematics, technical documentation, and hands-on diagnostic skills to identify root causes and restore equipment to operation.
• Respond to equipment issues and production downtime with urgency to minimize disruptions.
• Coordinate with OEM technical support and other resources for complex repairs.
• Take ownership of problems from diagnosis through repair, follow-up, and prevention of future failures.
• Drive Preventive and Proactive Maintenance on critical production equipment.
• Identify early signs of wear and potential equipment failure; develop preventive maintenance procedures.
• Maintain accurate maintenance records and contribute to continuous improvement efforts.

What You'll Do:

• Own Equipment Reliability and Troubleshooting
• Diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and automated manufacturing equipment.
• Troubleshoot PC/PLC-controlled equipment, sensors, drives, and other industrial control systems.
• Use electrical schematics, technical documentation, and hands‑on diagnostic skills to identify root causes and restore equipment to operation.
• Respond to equipment issues and production downtime with a sense of urgency, helping minimize disruptions and maintain plant productivity.
• Coordinate with OEM technical support and other resources when additional expertise is needed to complete complex repairs.
• Take ownership of problems from initial diagnosis through repair, follow‑up, and prevention of future failures.
• Drive Preventive and Proactive Maintenance
• Perform preventive maintenance on critical production equipment, including welders, cutting systems, conveyors, and automated assembly equipment.
• Identify early signs of wear, deterioration, and potential equipment failure before they become larger production issues.
• Help develop, improve, and execute preventive maintenance procedures and schedules.
• Maintain accurate maintenance records and contribute to continuous improvement efforts that strengthen equipment reliability and uptime.

Physical & Work Environment

This is a hands‑on, active manufacturing maintenance role , and the physical nature of the work is an important part of the job. Technicians should be prepared to:

• Stand, walk, bend, climb, and move throughout the facility for extended periods.
• Safely lift and handle materials, tools, and equipment weighing up to 50 pounds.
• Work around operating equipment, moving machinery, and production activity.
• Work in a manufacturing environment where noise levels and temperatures may vary depending on the area of the plant and the work being performed.
