Industrial Maintenance Technician As the Industrial Maintenance Technician you will be responsible for performing on-site industrial maintenance activities such as, but not limited to, tank clean-outs, industrial cleaning and outages. Provides assistance in various activities on-site that are necessary in the receiving and processing waste in preparation for incineration in a manner that is safe to human health and the environment.

Essential Functions & Requirements:

  • Prioritizes health and safety by adhering to policies, processes, and maintaining safe practices at all times
  • Takes on additional duties as assigned to support the team and organization
  • Prepares necessary supplies, tools, and other equipment needed for job.
  • Cleans and scrapes the inside of and assists with removal of underground chemical storage tanks; prepares waste for proper disposal
  • Operates excavation equipment
  • Operates small hand tools and provides other construction type labor in projects
  • Decontaminates equipment and tools
  • May load, unload, and sample drums
  • Responds to emergency spills
  • Assist BOP personnel when not working in the field

Education:

  • High school diploma or equivalent (required)

Competencies:

  • Regular and predictable attendance to perform the functions and requirements of this role
