Position: Maintenance Technician

Pay: $28-38/hr

Location: Dayton, TX

Job Summary:

Maintains dependable operations of production and quality systems by ensuring the safe and efficient functioning of all machinery and mechanical equipment.

Essential Job Functions and Responsibilities:

1. Performs preventive and corrective maintenance, calibration, and upkeep of manufacturing and production equipment.
2. Analyzes equipment performance and proposes strategies to improve system reliability.
3. Supports engineering projects, including equipment installation, commissioning, and validation processes.
4. Verifies mechanical and electrical drawings for accuracy.
5. Maintains accurate records of parts, materials, and consumables used during work.
6. Assists with proposals and recommendations for purchasing equipment and services.
7. Helps identify root causes of equipment failures and implements prompt resolutions.
8. Uses key process parameters and critical quality attributes to assist in resolving equipment performance issues.
9. Oversees contractor activities as required.
10. Performs troubleshooting of electrical, mechanical, pneumatic, and control systems.
11. Fabricates repair parts using machine shop instrumentation and equipment.
12. Maintains inventory of parts, tools, and supplies following departmental procedures.
13. Documents and communicates actions, irregularities, and ongoing needs to maintain team continuity.
14. Ensures a safe and clean working environment by adhering to established procedures and regulations.
