Lyrba USA, a sustainable and socially responsible plastics processing company, is opening its brand-new state-of-the-art food grade PET sheet production site that will utilize 100% post-consumer material as its feed source.

POSITION SUMMARY

Perform regular preventive maintenance on equipment used in the manufacturing process to ensure successful execution of production activities, as well as general building and grounds maintenance to maintain a safe and clean working environment.

Role and Responsibilities

• Use hand and power tools.
• Troubleshoot and maintain electrical, mechanical, and hydraulic equipment.
• Operate forklifts, boom lifts, and scissor lifts.
• Keep work areas clean, safe, and organized.
• Be responsible for all aspects of production maintenance.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications and Education Requirements

• Experience with residential and commercial electrical systems – 120VAC single phase through 480VAC 3 phase.
• High School Diploma (or GED or High School Equivalence Certificate).
• Trade school or community college in industrial maintenance is a plus.
• Welding experience is a plus.
• Proficient in English communication, both spoken and written.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

• Ability to follow all safety procedures.
• Experience using computer systems, particularly Windows operating systems.
• Flexibility to work overtime, handle call-ins, and emergency situations.
• Ability to lift/move 50 lbs or more, stand and walk for long periods.
• Ability to climb stairs and ladders.
• Comfortable working at heights of 40 feet or more.
• Able to work in extreme heat or cold weather conditions.
• Ability to follow both written and spoken work instructions.
• Ability to work in a diverse, team-oriented environment and independently.
• Ability to read electrical and mechanical prints.
• Dress appropriately for working conditions.
• Demonstrates a strong work ethic and professional demeanor.
