Job description

Established ISO 9001:2015 and IATF 16949:2016 certified supplier of washers and stampings is seeking a Maintenance Technician. Must perform maintenance, repairs, and installation of industrial equipment and company facilities in support of production and warehousing operations to meet customer requirements.

• Extensive experience in maintenance of industrial equipment
• Knowledgeable of hydraulic, electrical, pneumatic, and plumbing systems
• Ability to rig and move heavy industrial equipment
• Strong electrical troubleshooting skills

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Perform equipment upgrades
• Weld steel
• Fabricate brackets, guards, chutes, and other components
• Assist in developing and implementing process, equipment, and tooling improvements
• Use measurement devices such as calipers, micrometers, voltmeters for troubleshooting and repairs
• Prioritize and perform maintenance based on production needs
• Work independently with minimal supervision
• Practice safety and comply with PPE policies
• Troubleshoot and repair malfunctioning equipment
• Ensure correct installation and operation of equipment before use
• Maintain building and grounds
• Assist in maintaining department supplies, spare parts, and inventory

Experience and Education

• Previous experience as a Maintenance Technician in a stamping environment
• High school diploma
