Job Title:

Industrial Maintenance Technician | 2nd or 3rd shift | $28-$40/hour

Location:

Chambersburg, PA

Day-to-Day Role:

• The Maintenance Technician is responsible for installing, troubleshooting, repairing, and general maintenance of mechanical systems of plant/production machinery.
• Level and parallel rolls, make all required settings and adjustments for optimum equipment performance to manufacture quality products.
• Complete regular inspection of equipment to help identify mechanical/electrical issues or concerns and disassemble, repair, replace bearings, seals, gears, etc. as needed.
• Perform maintenance functions and troubleshoot to correct inefficiencies and prevent equipment downtime by completing regular PMs.
• Ensure the maintenance and preventive maintenance of corrugating plant process equipment to achieve results; ensure all equipment is running properly and meets operational requirements.
• Ability to read schematics and troubleshoot various pneumatic, hydraulic systems, PLCs, and motors.
• Strong maintenance, plumbing, electrical background (manufacturing) in AC/DC motor control, troubleshooting, and electrical wiring codes.
• Must be able to work flexible hours and/or extended hours.

Core Skills and Qualifications:

• GED or high school diploma.
• 3+ years related experience and/or training, or equivalent combination of technical school education and experience.
• Minimum of 6 months manufacturing experience; overall maintenance functions.
• Ability to read and understand electrical schematics.
• Ability to read and understand mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and steam systems.
