Job summary

100Hires, Inc. is seeking a Maintenance Technician in Kenosha, WI to troubleshoot and repair production equipment, perform preventive maintenance, and diagnose mechanical and electrical issues. The role involves working with motors, bearings, gearboxes, pumps, conveyors, and PLC/VFD-controlled systems.

Ideal candidates will follow LOTO and safety procedures, assist with installations, and collaborate with production to minimize downtime while documenting repairs and improvements.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot and repair production equipment when breakdowns occur
• Perform preventive and corrective maintenance
• Diagnose both mechanical and electrical equipment issues
• Repair and replace motors, bearings, gearboxes, pumps, chains, belts, and other machine components
• Troubleshoot hydraulic and pneumatic systems
• Troubleshoot sensors, relays, contactors, fuses, motors, and other industrial electrical components
• Work around PLC-controlled equipment and VFDs
• Assist with equipment installations, startups, and improvements
• Identify recurring equipment problems and recommend long-term solutions
• Complete maintenance work orders and document repairs
• Work closely with production to minimize equipment downtime
• Follow LOTO and all plant safety procedures
