Job summary

The Simplot Company in Grand Forks, ND is seeking a maintenance technician to keep plant equipment running across Process, Packaging, Logistics, Raw Receiving, Water Resources, and Digester Areas. You will gain hands-on experience while maintaining safe operations and following SOPs.

Under supervision, you will install, troubleshoot, repair, and maintain equipment, read drawings, plan work orders, and ensure spare parts availability. Physical work includes indoor/outdoor settings.

Qualifications

• AAS in Industrial Maintenance or equivalent, or two years of maintenance experience.
• Ability to read mechanical drawings (isometric/exploded views).
• Forklift, scissor lift, and snorkel lift trained or willing to obtain training.
• Strong reading/writing and verbal communication in English.
• Able to lift up to 50 pounds and work in varied environments.

Responsibilities

• Maintain mechanical operation of plant equipment in Process, Packaging, Logistics, Raw Receiving, Water Resources, and Digester Areas.
• Install, troubleshoot, repair and maintain plant equipment under supervision.
• Respond to mechanical line calls and complete work orders.
• Plan and schedule additional work; ensure spare parts are available.
• Maintain sanitation and safe working practices; document daily logs.
