Job summary
Saputo Cheese USA Inc. is seeking a Maintenance Technician in North Carolina to install, troubleshoot, repair, and maintain production and facility equipment. You will work with hydraulic, pneumatic, motors, gearboxes, VFD/HMI/Servo controls, conveyors, valves, sensors, and more, ensuring safe, reliable operation.
You’ll analyze test results, perform preventative maintenance, document activities in SAP, and adhere to SOPs, GMP, and 5S. Shift flexibility and strong communication are required.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Industrial ammonia refrigeration, high pressure boiler and utility experience.
- 1-2 years of industrial maintenance experience in manufacturing.
- Ability to utilize SAP or similar PM ERP platforms.
- Ability to troubleshoot electrical, hydraulic systems and pneumatic equipment.
- Strong electrical background in addition to mechanical skills.
- Experience with computerized or automated controls and ability to read electrical schematics.
Responsibilities
- Diagnose equipment problems from test results and operator data.
- Clean, lubricate, and adjust parts and machinery.
- Disassemble and repair machinery.
- Inspect parts for defects and wear.
- Test operation after repairs and reassemble equipment.
