Job summary

Legend Manufacturing, Inc. is seeking a maintenance technician to troubleshoot production issues and perform preventative maintenance on equipment in a fast-paced plant environment.

You will work as part of teams, follow health and safety rules, and use various tools and schematics to keep equipment running. The role includes cross-training across departments and a schedule of 7:00 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. on weekdays, with every-other Saturday shift.

Qualifications

• Use various power and hand tools.
• Read a tape measure.
• Willingness to cross-train between departments.
• Read and follow work instructions.
• Able to work 40–60 hours weekly, with specified schedule.
• Must pass a pre-employment drug screen.
• Good attendance required.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot production issues and perform preventative maintenance on equipment (Air Compressor, Rolling Stock, Production Machinery, HVAC).
• Follow health and safety rules and wear PPE.
• Troubleshoot machinery using schematics and perform timely repairs on hand tools.
• Communicate needs with purchasing department; maintain clean and safe work area.
