Job summary

Ultimate Staffing is seeking a Maintenance Technician to install and repair machines using basic electrical and industrial diagnostic skills. You will diagnose issues, perform preventative maintenance, and read schematics to troubleshoot and repair equipment.

The role requires a mechanical and electrical background, 2+ years of machine maintenance experience, and LOTO certification. Forklift/scissor lift experience is a plus, and safety rules must be followed, including work at heights when

Qualifications

• HS Diploma or GED
• Additional technical school and/or vocational education
• Mechanical and electrical background required
• Previous experience interpreting schematics and blueprints
• Authorized or certified in LOTO
• Previous experience with diagnostic tools and test equipment
• 2+ years of machine maintenance experience
• Forklift and scissor lift experience/certification

Responsibilities

• Installs and repairs machines utilizing basic electrical and industrial equipment diagnostic skills.
• Diagnoses and uses troubleshooting skills to fix malfunctioning apparatus and performs preventative maintenance.
• Performs electrical, or mechanical troubleshooting skills to repair building related items.
• Dismantles, adjusts, and repairs assemblies according to prints.
• Responsible for PM program for all presses.
• Able to operate a full range of shop equipment tooling and machinery.
• Able to read and interpret schematics and other drawings.
