Job summary

Labor Staffers is recruiting Industrial Maintenance Technicians for a full-time position in Altoona, PA. The role supports Maintenance, Engineering, Production and Quality Control to resolve equipment and process issues.

You will assist the Maintenance Supervisor with scheduling, oversight, design, troubleshooting and programming as assigned. The position requires hands-on maintenance expertise, PLC and robotics familiarity, and the ability to work across departments.

Qualifications

• High School diploma required.
• Two-year technical degree in Industrial Maintenance or related area preferred.
• Two years of maintenance technician or related experience required.
• Five years of experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provides technical assistance to Maintenance, Engineering, Production and Quality Control in resolving equipment or process problems.
• Writes work orders and procedures to correct malfunctions or improve equipment or processes.
• Trains Maintenance and Production staff on plant technologies such as PLCs, robotics, servo motors, and control systems.
• Assists in testing and evaluating new products and equipment; coordinates with Maintenance, Engineering and Purchasing.
