Job summary

MCC is seeking a Maintenance Technician for the 2nd shift in Fountain Inn, SC. The role ensures electrical schematics and instrumentation are calibrated and current, performing unscheduled repairs during downtime and completing preventive maintenance on production equipment.

Responsibilities include mechanical, electrical, pneumatic and hydraulic troubleshooting, supporting Lean Manufacturing and 5S, and maintaining facilities.

Qualifications

• Experience in electrical, mechanical, hydraulic and pneumatic applications.
• Able to read electrical schematics; vocational maintenance training is a plus.
• Basic computer and operating system knowledge.
• Strong problem-solving and multi-tasking abilities.
• Physical ability to lift up to 50 pounds and frequent walking.

Responsibilities

• Provides emergency/unscheduled repairs of production equipment during production.
• Performs scheduled maintenance repairs of production equipment during machine service in a multi-shift environment.
• Mechanical, electrical, pneumatic and hydraulic troubleshooting and repair of machines.
• Supports Lean Manufacturing and 5S in the production environment.
• Responsible for maintaining and performing repairs to the facility.
• Participates in special projects and performs other duties as assigned.
