Job summary

Mustad Hoofcare Group is seeking a Maintenance Technician to support manufacturing operations by maintaining and repairing equipment and assisting with building upkeep. The role requires experience with PLCs, robotics basics, and hydraulics, along with strong problem-solving skills and independent work capability.

You will perform preventative maintenance, assist in changeovers, ensure safety SOP adherence, and document maintenance activities using CMMS software.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Certification in electrical or mechanical trades preferred.
• 5+ years maintenance experience in manufacturing.
• Proficient in reading blueprints and schematics; CMMS familiarity.

Responsibilities

• Installs, maintains, and repairs facility equipment and systems (packing, line machines, hydraulics, HVAC).
• Supports production with proper machine operation, troubleshooting, and changeovers.
• Follows safety and SOP regulations, including MPS.
• Manages breakdowns and maintains spare parts inventory.
• Labels, stores, and handles hazardous materials; maintains SDS.
• Documents TPM/PM data and uses PM software.
• Performs preventative maintenance per schedule; tests energized equipment.
• Performs other duties as requested by management.
