Job summary

Responsibilities include maintaining records, adhering to 5S practices, and coordinating with internal teams to manage spare parts and work orders while ensuring safety and reliability of equipment.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for the installation, repair, and maintenance of all plant equipment and for performing the maintenance and upkeep of the building and grounds.
• Prepare and maintain records related to work performed, including work orders, purchase orders, inventory records and all associated computer database inputs.
• Keep work area clean and orderly following the 5S principles.
• Support 5S Lean practices: Sort, Set in Order, Shine, Standardize, and Sustain.
• Troubleshoot and repair equipment; create, maintain, troubleshoot, and repair electrical and electronic circuits.
• Maintain, troubleshoot, and optimize PLC programs and associated equipment.
• Read technical manuals to understand equipment and controls; disassemble machinery when there is a problem; repair or replace broken components.
• Test machinery, calibrate equipment, and perform initial tests to ensure smooth operation; detect minor problems via basic diagnostics.
