Job summary
AMP in Stanton, CA is seeking a hands-on Industrial Maintenance Tech for 1st shift to maintain, troubleshoot, and repair equipment across our surface finishing plating operations.
The role focuses on plumbing, fluid handling, tank hardware, and overhead crane systems in a demanding chemical processing environment; requires 3+ years of industrial maintenance experience, strong safety discipline, and the ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
Qualifications
- 3+ years of Industrial maintenance experience, preferably in plating/chemical environments.
- Proven plumbing skills with CPVC/PVDF/PVC piping, valves and pumps.
- Solid troubleshooting across pumps, pneumatics, motor controls, and material handling.
- Formal knowledge of OSHA guidelines, SDS, chemical compatibility and spill response.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs, climb ladders/scissor lifts, wear full PPE.
Responsibilities
- Plumbing & fluid handling systems: install, repair and maintain chemical piping, valves and metering pumps.
- Plating & anodizing line maintenance: inspect and service tanks, coils, lines and shielding to prevent faults.
- Mechanical & material handling: maintain cranes, hoists, monorails and lifting tackle; service blowers and exhausts.
- Safety & regulatory compliance: follow LOTO, confined space, hazardous chemical handling and log activities.
