Job summary

Dart Container is seeking an experienced Maintenance Mechanic to troubleshoot and repair industrial equipment and keep our manufacturing line running safely, reliably, and efficiently. This full-time position follows a rotating 2-2-3 schedule with 12-hour shifts (7:00 pm–7:00 am) and a $2/hour shift premium.

Pay ranges from $25 to $36 per hour, with comprehensive benefits, tuition reimbursement, and opportunities for advancement.

Qualifications

3+ years of industrial maintenance experience or equivalent through technical training.
Strong mechanical troubleshooting and repair skills in a manufacturing environment.
Knowledge of pneumatic, hydraulic systems, bearings, motors, gearboxes, conveyors, and temperature/pressure controls.
Ability to diagnose equipment issues and perform repairs with minimal supervision.
Commitment to workplace safety and quality workmanship.

Responsibilities

Troubleshoot, diagnose, repair, install, and maintain industrial manufacturing equipment.
Perform preventive and predictive maintenance to maximize equipment reliability and minimize downtime.
Repair or replace mechanical components including motors, conveyors, pumps, valves, and production equipment.
Read and interpret mechanical drawings, manuals, and equipment documentation.
Assist with production changeovers, equipment setups, and continuous improvement initiatives.
Dismantle, rebuild, and modify equipment as needed to support plant operations.
Follow all safety procedures and preventive maintenance schedules.
