Job summary

Precoat Metals is seeking a Multi Craft Maintenance Technician to join our Elkridge, MD plant. You will troubleshoot PLCs, electronics, hydraulics and pneumatics, perform repairs on boilers, pumps and related systems, and read diagrams and schematics to keep production running.

With 4+ years of hands-on maintenance experience, you’ll participate in preventive maintenance, safety walks, and continuous improvement activities. Excellent teamwork and clear communication are essential for success.

Qualifications

• 4+ years repairing and troubleshooting pneumatic, hydraulic, mechanical and electrical systems.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints, schematics and equipment manuals.
• High school diploma or GED; good communication and safety mindset.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot PLCs, electronics, circuits, hydraulics, pneumatics, and mechanics.
• Repair boilers, compressors, pumps, sprinklers, cooling towers as needed.
• Read machine drawings, blueprints, and schematics; modify as required.
• Fabricate and weld components; perform preventive maintenance and inspections.
• Input data into Maint Management/PM System; coordinate repairs with teams.
