Job summary

Aliaxis is seeking a Maintenance Technician to support a fast-paced manufacturing environment. You will perform preventive, corrective and emergency maintenance on injection molding machines and facility systems to maximize uptime.

The role requires a high school diploma or GED, 2+ years of maintenance experience, and PLC/electrical troubleshooting skills; technical certificates are preferred. Candidates should be safety-minded and collaborative with production staff.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of maintenance experience in manufacturing or injection molding.
• Strong mechanical and electrical troubleshooting skills.
• Familiarity with PLCs, sensors, and control systems.
• Ability to read technical manuals, schematics, and blueprints.
• Good verbal and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine and preventative maintenance on injection moulding machines.
• Troubleshoot mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and electrical issues.
• Maintain and repair auxiliary equipment.
• Conduct general facility repairs (lighting, plumbing, HVAC, structural).
• Support utility systems (air, water, electrical distribution).
• Assist with mold changes.
• Collaborate with process technicians and production staff.
• Maintain maintenance records.
• Follow safety protocols and OSHA standards.
• Participate in continuous improvement and root cause analysis.
