Job summary

Pitney Bowes is seeking an Onsite Industrial Maintenance Technician III for the Phoenix, AZ facility on 2nd shift (Mon–Fri, 2:00 pm–10:00 pm). You will troubleshoot and repair complex mechanical and electrical equipment, including conveyors and PLC systems, to minimize downtime.

A base rate of $28.00–$30.00 per hour with a $0.50/hr shift premium applies. Responsibilities include preventive maintenance, installations, and rapid response to breakdowns, using tablets to track work and inventory.

Qualifications

• 2–6 years direct experience troubleshooting and repairing complex industrial mechanical equipment.
• Experience servicing conveyor machines and PLC systems.
• Ability to read schematics and service manuals.
• Proficient with electronic testing equipment and multimeters.
• Familiarity with Windows PC environment for automated equipment.

Responsibilities

• Perform complex mechanical and electronic repairs of conveyors and PLC systems.
• Conduct preventative maintenance and installations on industrial machinery.
• Respond to equipment breakdowns and emergencies.
• Utilize work orders and inventory systems to reduce downtime.
• Maintain spare parts inventory and document downtime using a tablet.
