Job summary

Samuel Packaging Systems Group is seeking an Industrial Electro-Mechanical Technician to maintain and repair production equipment across shifts. You will read manuals, diagnose faults, and perform preventive maintenance to keep lines running safely and efficiently.

The role requires five years of maintenance experience, a strong mix of mechanical and electrical skills, and the ability to work OT, weekends, and rotating shifts.

Qualifications

• Industrial Electro-Mechanical Technician with combined mechanical and electrical maintenance skills.
• Minimum of five years maintenance experience in pneumatic, hydraulic, electrical, mechanical trades and PLCs.
• Ability to read manuals and work orders, diagnose problems, and perform repairs.
• Strong problem-solving, critical thinking and tool handling abilities.
• Knowledge of electrical theory for power and controls; familiarity with hydraulics and pneumatics.
• Welding, fabrication and furnace-related skills are valued.
• Ability to work OT, weekends, and varying shifts with good teamwork.

Responsibilities

• Maintain production machines, equipment, and facilities performance (Safety, Quality, Efficiency, Availability and Reliability).
• Provide emergency and unscheduled repairs during production and perform scheduled maintenance.
• Perform preventive maintenance and routine inspections on equipment and facilities.
• Read and interpret manuals and work orders to perform required maintenance and service.
• Diagnose problems, replace or repair parts, test and adjust equipment.
• Train and share knowledge with coworkers; ensure smooth handovers across shifts.
