Job summary

Mission Linen Supply is seeking an experienced Maintenance Technician II to repair, maintain, install, and troubleshoot industrial equipment including washers, dryers, steam tunnels, conveyors, and boilers in a Bend, Oregon facility. The role covers preventive maintenance, boiler-related tasks, welding, and technical documentation.

Candidates should have at least 2 years of maintenance engineering experience and be able to lift up to 50 lbs.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of maintenance engineering experience with knowledge of machinery, electricity, electronics, plumbing, welding, and boiler applications
• Experience with mechanical troubleshooting, hydraulics, pneumatics, and reading repair manuals and schematics
• In-plant role requiring strong technical knowledge of industrial equipment and the ability to work with varied mechanical/electrical systems
• Must be able to stand, move through the plant all day, and lift up to 50 lbs

Responsibilities

• Perform routine preventive maintenance on plant machines to keep them running smoothly
• Open/close daily operations for startup and shutdown of boiler, air compressor, pumps, and valves
• Maintain lint traps, shaker screen barrels, oil levels, grease fittings, and water levels
• Complete general and basic repairs on machinery according to manufacturer schedules
• Document maintenance processes and report major repairs as needed
