Job summary

Kinetic Custom Trailers in Waco, Texas, is seeking a Maintenance Technician who will keep our fabrication operation running smoothly. You bring a hands-on mechanical aptitude and a proactive approach to preventing downtime, with experience in industrial equipment and safety-focused teamwork.

You will perform preventive and corrective maintenance on press brakes, plasma/CNC, and other fabricating equipment, diagnose mechanical/hydraulic/pneumatic issues, and document work orders and PM logs.

Qualifications

3–5+ yrs industrial maintenance in heavy fab/assembly or similar.
Mechanical troubleshooting plus hydraulics/pneumatics; able to read prints/schematics; safe use of precision tools & lift equipment.

Responsibilities

Preventive & corrective maintenance on fabrication/assembly assets (press brake, plasma/CNC, various steel fabricating equipment, compressors, etc).
Diagnose mechanical/hydraulic/pneumatic issues; basic electrical/VFD checks; simple PLC/HMI edits. (All licensed electrical work is outsourced.)
Create/close work orders, parts usage, and PM logs; support 5S/TPM.
Facility related maintenance items.
