Job summary

Arcwood Environmental is seeking an Industrial Maintenance Technician to install, troubleshoot, repair and maintain production and facility equipment in accordance with safety, production, and maintenance processes.

You will perform preventative and corrective maintenance, read manuals and drawings, and support the team with flexible hours as needed. A high school diploma is required; an associate degree is preferred and 1+ years of experience or a craft apprenticeship is expected.

Qualifications

• High-school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Associate degree in industrial maintenance or related field preferred.
• 1+ years of industrial maintenance experience or completion of craft apprenticeship required.
• Fabrication and welding experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Prioritizes health and safety by adhering to policies and maintaining safe practices.
• Performs preventative, predictive, and corrective maintenance on equipment and facilities.
• Utilizes mechanical, pneumatic, and hydraulic maintenance skills to troubleshoot and repair equipment.
• Provides emergency / unscheduled repairs to equipment when necessary.
• Reads and interprets equipment manuals and drawings.
• Diagnoses equipment issues and tests/repairs or replaces parts.
• Detects faulty operations or defective materials and reports issues to supervision.
• Maintains the ability to work flexible hours or overtime as needed.
• Takes on additional duties to support the team and organization.
