Job summary

K & S Tire Recycling is seeking an experienced Industrial Maintenance Technician / Equipment Operator to maintain and operate heavy-duty tire recycling equipment. You will service shredders, conveyors, screens and related gear to keep production running smoothly.

Responsibilities include diagnosing mechanical failures, performing preventive maintenance, replacing wear components, and safely clearing jams. Bobcat/skid steer operation is required; shifts are 1st and 2nd with pay $18–$20 per hour.

Qualifications

• Industrial maintenance or mechanical experience.
• Strong troubleshooting ability.
• Experience with bearings, conveyors and mechanical components.
• Knowledge of Lockout/Tagout procedures.
• Ability to operate a Bobcat/skid steer.

Responsibilities

• Maintain tire shredders, steel liberators, conveyors, screens and related equipment.
• Diagnose mechanical failures and production problems.
• Change/adjust shredder knives, screens and wear components.
• Replace/maintain bearings, shafts, belts, chains, sprockets and rollers.
• Inspect motors, gearboxes, hydraulics and pneumatics.
• Perform preventive maintenance and lubrication.
• Safely clear jams using proper LOTO procedures.
• Operate Bobcat/skid steer to load and move material.
• Identify abnormal heat, vibration, noise and wear before failures occur.
