Job summary

Hawkins, Inc. is seeking a Maintenance Technician to uphold facility equipment including electrical, plumbing, carpentry, painting, and general repairs. You will participate in capital projects and maintain a preventive maintenance program with spare parts inventory.

The role requires a high school diploma, 3+ years in manufacturing, forklift operation, and proficiency with MS Office. Familiarity with JDEdwards is a plus; boilers license or DOT card may be required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Read and interpret safety rules and operating instructions.
• Minimum 3 years in manufacturing/distribution environment; chemicals preferred.
• Forklift operation is required; skid steer/backhoe experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform general facility and equipment repairs including boiler, HVAC, pumps, welding, piping, and construction.
• Lead or support capital projects as needed.
• Maintain preventive maintenance program and spare parts inventory.
• Maintain clean and safe work areas; report safety incidents to supervisor.
