Job summary

Torrey Holistics, a high-volume manufacturing operation, is seeking a mechanically skilled Industrial Maintenance Technician to troubleshoot production equipment, respond to breakdowns, and perform preventive maintenance to maximize uptime.

You’ll maintain conveyors, rotating equipment, bearings, gearboxes, and motors, read mechanical drawings, perform shaft alignments, inspect components, and implement long-term fixes for recurring failures.

Qualifications

• Strong mechanical troubleshooting skills.
• Experience maintaining rotating equipment (conveyors, bearings, gearboxes, motors).
• Ability to read and interpret mechanical drawings and equipment manuals.
• Experience completing preventive maintenance routes with minimal supervision.
• Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs and work around moving industrial equipment.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot and repair mechanical issues on production equipment.
• Respond quickly to equipment breakdowns to minimize downtime.
• Repair and replace conveyors, conveyor components, bearings, gearboxes, and motors.
• Perform shaft alignments on rotating equipment.
• Complete scheduled preventive maintenance on compounding lines.
• Inspect bearings, couplings, belts, chains, and other mechanical components for wear.
• Identify recurring equipment failures and recommend long-term corrective actions.
• Work safely while supporting continuous production.
